What is Hitchhiking?
An online community for people who share a route and want to get to know each other before they travel.
On Hitchhiking you can register your trip, find companions, coordinate timing and route, and chat in one place. Our goal is to simplify carpooling — not to sell service packages.
The app and web version are available at dutch.hitchhiking.ir; this page is a general introduction to the platform.
For drivers and passengers, public profiles, events, contacts, and travel-related tools are gathered in one place. You decide who to travel with; we provide communication and coordination infrastructure.
No service brokerage — only tools that make travel clearer and safer. When you are ready, use “Open app” on the home page to sign up or sign in.

Images published on Hitchhiking (logo, user content on public profiles, events, and posts) are subject to platform rules. Reuse, republication, or commercial use without permission from the image owner or Hitchhiking is not allowed.
To request permission to use an image, contact the creator via their public profile or through the web app.
